Event Filmmaker
JJ Kim is the owner of Orange Video Productions/Orange Wedding Films in Chicago. JJ came to the US when he was 15 and went to high school in Minnesota. He attended Norwich University in Vermont where he majored in communications/broadcasting. After graduating, JJ worked as a production assistant at a Boston based video production company for two years. He then moved with his wife and two children to Chicago where he started his own video production studio. This year, 2011, JJ was voted one of the 25 hottest and most influential event filmmakers in the world. He was elected by the readers of EventDV magazine. JJ is also the co-founder of local group that focuses on filmmaking with HDSLR cameras called the “Chicago HDSLR Group.”
