Zacuto offers two camera baseplates- the The VCT Pro and the ACT Baseplate.
The VCT Pro is our 5-star review camera baseplate. It is one of the lightest and smallest on the market making it the preferred choice. The VCT Pro uses a proprietary quick release plate for the camera side and uses the very robust VCT-14 for the tripod side. It has a 10” sliding range for camera balance and 25mm of vertical rod adjustment. The best feature is our very comfortable gel-polymer shoulder pad!
The ACT is our Arca-Swiss compatible camera baseplate. It also works perfectly with all the Zacuto camera cages. The red sliding camera plate offers easy adjustability to get your rig balanced.
