Daniel is a Los Angeles-based director of photography with more than 10 years of experience. With his early roots set in Michigan and formative training in Chicago, he has lensed hundreds of projects including several award-winning narrative features and shorts, documentaries, music videos and commercials – many of which have been televised and screened in festivals around the world. Daniel received his M.F.A. in cinematography from the American Film Institute Conservatory and was one of only four cinematographers chosen for Film Independent’s Project:Involve Fellowship which garners the support of mentors like John Toll (cinematographer, The Last Samurai) and Alexander Payne (writer/director, Sideways). Inspired by everyday moments, Daniel loves bringing out the best in his collaborative storytellers while working with uniquely compelling material.
