Independent Filmmaker
Anish Savjani formed filmscience, an Austin, Texas-based independent film production company, in November 2005. In that time, he has produced eight feature films: Kelly Reichardt's
WENDY AND LUCY and
OLD JOY; Joe Swanberg's
ALEXANDER THE LAST,
NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS and
HANNAH TAKES THE STAIRS; Bob Byington's HARMONY AND ME; Spencer Parsons' I'LL COME RUNNING; and Steve Collins' GRETCHEN. He has also been nominated by Film Independent for two Spirit Awards. Upcoming projects include Geoff Marslett's animated feature, MARS, and a documentary about human research testing by Michael Palmieri and Donal Mosher.
