Masters in Motion will take place at the Alamo Drafthouse and Omni Hotel in Austin, Texas from November 14th to the 16th. The workshop features nine in-depth presentations from some of the industry’s top filmmakers including Philip Bloom, Vincent Laforet, Joe Simon, Tom Guilmette, Jonathan Bregel, Khalid Mohtaseb, Tyler Ginter and Adam Forgione. Each workshop day will be lecture based will have loads of gear (Zacuto and others) for attendees to check out. After the workshop participants will have a chance to join the filmmakers as they soak in the Austin nightlife and network.

The goal of the Masters in Motion workshop is to go beyond specific cameras and discuss more advanced filmmaking topics. The nine aforementioned speakers will discuss many different topics in great detail. Some topics include composition and imagination, lighting theory, applying movement to enhance your story, documentary filmmaking, production workflow, how color relates to story, and advanced audio.
