The HPX300 delivers impressive, high-resolution recording using AVC-Intra and industry-standard DVCPRO HD, but also supports standard definition recording in DVCPRO50, DVCPRO and DV formats for complete flexibility. The mulit-format camcorder offers native 24p (23.98 fps), making it an affordable digital cinema solution for indie film production. Its high resolution LCOS color viewfinder and 3.2 inch LCD color monitor provide clear image reproduction even when shooting in bright outdoor areas.
This camera offers a broad range of creative features including variable frame rates, six advanced gamma functions, Chromatic Aberration Compensation (CAC), built-in scan reverse, Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) function, waveform and vector scope display and focus assist tools.
The two-slot HPX300 provides instant random access to recorded HD or SD content and operates reliably in harsh environments, with resistance to temperature extremes, shock and vibration.
