Edward Seaton began in the film business shooting local sports for WGN in 1998. In 2000 he began cutting commercials with with EightBall films and a year later he was directing local and national spots for Advertising Agecies in Chicago, New York, San Fransisco and L.A.
In 2004 after seeing a decline in Agency activities Edward started his first web broadcasting project, or "Video Magazine" called www.prepwire.tv which covers all major local High School Sports events.
In 2007 Edward formed the company Recurve Media with partner Rimas Simonaitis. Recurve Media is a traditional production/post company with a focus on creating content for the web while developing the technology necessary to distribute and monetize such content.
In 2008 Recurve Media launched www.outworld.tv as another "Video Magazine" this time catered to the LGBTQ community. Recurve developed the technology to deliver OutWorld content through Facebook and other Social Network engines. Currently Recurve Media has 3 other video magazines projects in development. Recurve Media also provides video production services to Crain's Chicago Business magazine including the award winning "Golf Buddies", "Golf Tips", and their annual "Critics Pick" restaurant reviews.
