We carry the latest technology in high definition (HD) cameras where our trademark camera packages are designed by Zacuto staff (former DP’s) who have over 45 years of combined film/video experience. Our specialty is our unique all inclusive 24p camera packages for sale and rental.

Our camera packages are specifically designed so that independent filmmakers have the necessary accessories needed to properly shoot a film with a limited crew.  All Zacuto camera packages are designed for perfect balance when shooting handheld as well as on a tripod. Since many of our camera packages are fully assembled in our case design, setup should take less then a minute.  The same goes for moving from tripod to handheld, in about a minute.  Our cases are designed to hold a lot of gear, usually fully assembled, in a compact space, and be the correct weight and size to be shipped or taken as baggage on any airline.

Zacuto USA, our brand, is entirely designed and manufactured by Zacuto and made in the USA.  Designers Jens Bogehegn (DP), Steve Weiss (Director) along with our engineer Bob Zajeski design all of the products with input from their staff and customers. Zacuto brand products have a lifetime warranty and are built to standards higher then German engineering quality.  Every aspect of the design and production is checked to see if it meets our extremely high tolerances. 

Our Zacuto baseplate and Z-LWS are the platforms that hold the camera as well as all of the accessories. Since they hold all of the accessories they take the strain off of the new lightweight HD cameras. They are completely universal and will work on all cameras thus making our products unique from other products on the market. Having the baseplate platforms universal means as technology changes your Zacuto gear moves on with you to your next camera.  Zacuto products are unique in that almost every part is quick-releasable by flipping a lever.  Speed, ease of use and strength are what Zacuto is all about.  We don't believe in traditional screw on, screw off parts; because they can loosen on their own, they take a long time to get on and off and they cause wear and tear on your equipment.

Zacuto Lease, Our lease program allows filmmakers to purchase their Zacuto camera package now and pay for it monthly (between 24 to 60 months).  Zacuto's technological upgrade allows you to upgrade any of the equipment in your camera package with the latest gear as it becomes available.  Zacuto will buy back your camera package, or parts of it and replace it with the new gear you want.  You can either pay the difference or keep your lease payment the same by adding additional payments to the end of the lease.

Zacuto Rentals, (started in 2000) is not your typical ala carte rental house.  Again we are known for our unique all inclusive camera packages which come in many types: Zacuto ENG package (news style: camera, lens, batteries & charger), Zacuto Docu package (documentary style: built for the run-and-gun shooter, yet has necessities like a 2-stage matte box, filters, follow focus & zoom controller), Zacuto Cine package (feature style: built for a larger crew, comes with prime or cine zoom lenses, monitoring & more) and Zacuto Cine Plus package (feature style: includes prime and cine zoom lenses, additional monitoring, extender viewfinder, zoom controller, support and much more).
